The Pavia racing stable seems to be clicking on all cylinders the last two weeks at Pompano Park with 7 starters collecting 4 Wins, 1 second and 1 third place finish. The stable sent out 3 horses on Sunday night and were only a nose away from being 3 for 3….
The night started out with the veteran pacer Four Starzzz Z leaving from post 2 to secure a pocket trip and win rather easily in 1:51.4.
The next horse to race was Glammit who was going for his 2nd win in a row. He didn’t disappoint as he was sent to the lead from post 5 to secure the pocket and then retake the lead and cut the mile winning in a new lifetime mark of 1:51.2.
The final horse to go to post Sunday night was Hez A Buckeye, also looking for his 2nd straight victory in Florida, he got away 7th from post 6 and worked his way up with cover to swing 3 wide. He was closing the fastest of all but ran out of race track and was beaten a nose in 1:53.3.
Hez A Buckey follows Glammit to the winners Circle. The second win of the night and the meet for the Pavia stable was brought home by Hez A Buckeye who won an $8000 claiming race in 153.1.
Congratulations to winning owners of the Joe Pavia Jr Stable Inc – PA
